This Panoramic picture was taken at a viewing point called ''Kongens Utsikt'' (the King's View) where the Swedish / Norwegian king Karl Johan visited this place in 1832. Kings View is 450 meters above sea level.

Tyrifjorden is Norway's fifth largest lake with an area of 137 km², has a volume of 13 km³, is 295 meters deep at its deepest, and lies 63 meters above sea level. It is located in the county of Buskerud and borders the municipalities of Hole, Lier, Modum, and Ringerike.

The Sundoya FjordHotel can just be seen on Sundvoldenbrua, the bridge at Sundvolden (to the left of the picture).
